Workflow
From draft to paid, every state is explicit.
The invoice lifecycle mirrors the database, so what you see is exactly what's stored.
- 1Draft
Draft
Numbered from a sequence, never reused.
- 2Sent
Sent
Bill-to details are snapshotted.
- 3Viewed
Viewed

- 4Partially paid
Partially paid
Payments allocate to the balance.
- Paid
Paid
Balance reaches exactly zero.
Exact to the cent
Money is stored in integer minor units. Discount applies before tax, shipping is never taxed, and every line rounds once.
Overdue is derived
Nothing flips a flag at midnight. Overdue is computed from the due date and the open balance, so it can't drift.
Every action is audited
Invoices, payments, tickets, domains and reviews write to the audit log the moment they change.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
Straight answers about what works today and what connects next.
Is this connected to real payments?
Not yet. This is a working demo: every action updates real data structures, but it's stored in your browser. Card payments, email delivery and KYC providers connect in a later phase.
How is “overdue” calculated?
An invoice is overdue when it's still open (sent, viewed or partially paid) and today is past its due date. It's computed on read, never stored.
Can invoices come from my own domain?
Yes. Add a subdomain, publish the TXT record we give you, and run the DNS check — it's a real DNS-over-HTTPS lookup.
How do partial payments work?
Record any amount up to the balance. Each payment is allocated to the invoice, the balance updates everywhere, and the invoice becomes paid at exactly zero.
Can I start over?
Open the user menu inside the app and choose Reset demo data. Everything returns to the original sample workspace.
